Why Is Throat Culture Important?

How Is Throat Culture Done?
The sample sent to the laboratory is applied to the specially prepared media, the sample is allowed to stand for 24 hours and the microorganisms are replenished. If there is no reproduction at the end of one day, the culture result is judged as "negative" and "no reproduction in the throat culture" is reported. If reproduction occurs, bacteria are identified by applying a number of different tests and a "culture antibiogram" test is conducted to determine the bactericidal effect of the breeding bacteria.
